Don't miss this opportunity to earn CPE credits, learn proven strategies for career and technical education, meet Texas Education Agency's CTE Directors, ask questions and share ideas with other CTE educators from across the state.
The New CTE Teacher Conference is designed to help CTE teachers with less than four years experience gain the knowledge and resources they need to be successful in the CTE classroom.
Conference topics will include the 16 Career Clusters, CTE TEKS, preparing students for high-skill, high-wage and high-demand careers, working with special populations and strategies for teaching today's students. New CTE teachers also will gain valuable resources and connections by networking with representatives from Texas career and technical student organizations (CTSOs).
Participants will have the opportunity to earn up to 14 continuing professional education units (CPEs) at no additional fee.
